Facilities
Clubhouse
Clacton-on-Sea Sailing Club is situated at the extreme eastern boundary of Clacton-on-Sea within the Holland-on-Sea Country Park.

As you can see from the photo, on good days the clubhouse and balcony are a little suntrap, where you can sit in comfort while you watch all the sailors buzzing around out there.

The clubhouse is open every Sunday with a light lunch being served around 1pm - if this clashes with good sailing time then just say the word and something will be saved for you.

The bar is open (with club prices) from 12 noon, and hot drinks are available at all times. The occasional Saturday evening event consists of light hearted fun and a supper and you can just turn up (although I would prefer if you did book).

The formal meals, Fitting Out, Laying Up, and Christmas Lunch must be booked in advance.

See the website for notes on all social events.

Visitors are welcome at the clubhouse for a maximum of 4 vists, after which you must become a member if you wish to keep coming. Visitors must sign the Visitors Book and make themselves known to a committee member (one of whom is always either behind the bar or in the galley!)
Compound
The compound is situated just 100 metres from the shoreline and can hold over 125 boats, the area is well organised and the grass is regularly cut to keep appearances neat and tidy.

Clacton Sailing Club has a number of well maintained facilities for the use of it's members. For a reasonable compound fee you can hold your dinghy or fishing boat in our securely fenced storage area.
